Description:  Based on a CBS Special Report learn how doodling is an important skill for learners to engage with and connect information/ideas.  Supported by studies in multiple intelligences by Howard Gardener, learn how to use doodling as a learning and evaluation skill for yourself and for your students. You will practice the skill with small groups in a variety of disciplines and learn how to use doodle diagrams as a method for evaluating student engagement and understanding of material. Try out this great method to make note-taking and rote learning fun, memorable, and flexible.

Knowledge of visual literacy strategy to support comprehension and memory skill-building,
note-taking tool for building visual literacy, evaluation strategy for student comprehension of subject material.

Please Bring:   
Any piece of writing that you would like your students to read and understand, or take notes on to evidence understanding. Sample writing will be provided also.
Markers will be provided.
